It's Test Day Today!

The test for our Dr. Dog Intermediate class is at 5pm today. It has been raining cats and dogs for the past few days, so I have been practicing indoors.

The search for the yummiest treat continues as we have not mastered the "Spit Out" command 100%, so I got a pack of cheese.



Hmmm....please don't tell Mom that I am not too crazy about this, it will absolutely break her heart.



Mom found out from another blogger about a type of dog food that can be used as a treat, so she also bought a roll of that dog food. We have been using it for our practice sessions for the last few days and I am pleased to report that as of yesterday afternoon, I have mastered my "Spit Out" command by about 80%.



This is the roll of Butch Blue Label from New Zealand, it contains fresh lamb, beef and chicken and it is suitable for both cats and dogs. It is also formulated with whole fish, rice, cereals, Omega -3, Parsley, Kelp, Vitamins, Minerals and Yucca.



The Butch roll has to be refrigerated and it is nice and cool. It not only makes a great pillow, but it is also a healthy treat as it has no sugar, no wheat, no gluten, no yeast and no artificial colors or flavorings.

Dad is back from his trip and yesterday he and Mom went to get another two rolls of Butch dog meal and some frozen mutton in preparation for today's test. Mom cooked a little mutton and we used it for training last night.

With a mixture of the Butch roll and mutton, I managed to "Spit Out" a pig ear! Can you believe that? Me spit out a Pig Ear? That made Dad and Mom really happy. It's no big deal really, but the two of them were just over the moon!

We are going to take it easy today, I am going to take a little nap now and then wake up for a light practice session and then we will go off to school in the afternoon. Please keep your fingers, toes and paws crossed for me, I hope to have some good news to report tonight.
