Visit to National Taiwan University again!

It was a sunny day and since, I have not been to National Taiwan University for quite some time, Mom decided to take me there for a walk.

Mom was hungry, so we looked around and discovered a nice place to eat. It is the "IT Cafe & Restaurant" located on the second floor of the New Moon Pavilion.

Look at the gelato selection at the entrance! Yums!

It looks really comfy in there, unfortunately furry friends are not allowed inside.

That was fine because sitting outside was rather nice too!

Mom ordered a set lunch that came with a mushroom soup.

This is Linguine with Clams in White Wine Sauce, it is supposed to be the most popular dish in the restaurant.

Mom said it was really delicious!

As usual, I was hoping to get some.

No Linguine for me so I rested under the table.

Enjoyed views of the tennis courts and

students cycling up and down.

Coffee was served after the meal.

Mom enjoyed her caffeine kick

while I sat in a teacup.

Mom says we have to bring Dad to this restaurant next time!

Dr. Dino's First Official Visit

The day has finally come for me to put on my Dr. Dog uniform!

We are ready to go!

Me and my proud parents.

Sitting tall and smart in the taxi.

We are here! A portrait shot before I start working.

Back view of my uniform.

Yeah! It feels good!

Grandma is afraid of big dogs, so I showed her my nose trick.

She began to warm up to me and fed me with a spade and even gave me a back massage!

This chair is a little too small for me, I think I need two chairs.

Howdy is always a delight!

Meeting Dr. Moda for the first time, what a darling!

Dr. Moda in action.

Moda's Dad chatted with Granny as Moda looked on.

Dr. Milu working his charm.

Dr. Junbo is simply adorable!

It was a really nice first official visit and we are looking forward to know grandpas and grandmas better.

Oh! And I received a pleasant surprise in the mail from my friends Augie and Ti in America!!!

A present for me!!!!!

Wow!!! A Mini Me with a bright red paw-print bandana and a personalized name tag! How cool is that!

It came with a nice card telling me that they are proud of me! That is one of the nicest presents ever! Thank you so much Augie and Ti! Muah!

Health Check!

Bibi's owner, Kerry informed us that Taiwan Genome Sciences, Inc. is offering complimentary health checks and X-rays for Dr. Dogs till the end of the month and so, we went on Thursday night.

I love the clinic, it is very clean and modern.

Look! They even have a space ship where you can teleport! Just kidding! Actually that is an oxygen tank where we can go in for some pure oxygen. It looks kind of small for me and I think I would be terrified if you put me in there, but it's my first time seeing this machine and I thought it was rather cool.

After checking out the clinic, the friendly doctor gave me a body check, looked at my teeth and listened to my heart beat. He said that I have good skin and my heart was beating really fast, but that was just because I was feeling really excited.

Then we went into the X-ray room. I have a very long body so he had to take four separate X-rays for me. I was really cooperative in there and Doctor even praised me for being a good boy!

This is my upper body.

This is my lower body. Doctor could tell that I had not pooped yet!

And here is my side profile. Doc said I had some gas too! That was embarrassing!

The X-rays were ready in just a matter of minutes and we viewed them on the computer. They were very sharp, you could see my organs and intestines very clearly. Doctor went through the X-rays and said that overall everything looked good, but there are a few things to pay attention to. He advised me to go for a dental visit to clean my teeth. He also added that I should lose some weight to reduce the pressure on my hips as he was concerned about hips dysplasia and he suggested that the next time I get my hips X-rayed, I should get my teeth cleaned at the same time too. He also said to continue taking my joint supplements.

The service is very professional and Doc gave a very thorough check up, I highly recommend it to all my furry friends!

10 Promises to My Dog (與狗狗的10個約定)

The Japanese movie "10 Promises to My Dog" by the same producers of "Quill" has hit the cinemas recently and probably sparked off another golden retriever and puppy craze.

Having a dog is a huge commitment, so before you go out and buy yourself or somebody else a cute little fluffy golden retriever puppy or any other dog for that matter, make sure that you are able to fulfill these ten promises to your dog first. If you are a dog owner, make these promises to your dog today!

Synopsis from Yahoo Movies:
12-year old Akari fell in love with a puppy that had wandered into her house and adopted it. She named it "Socks" as its' paws looked like they had white socks on. The girl and dog are inseparable and the pet was a great comfort to Akari while grieving her mother's death. However, as Akari grows up, her feelings and interest moves away from Socks. Year by year, their distance grows, which also leads to her physical distance as she moves to a far off city and must leave Socks behind to a childhood friend. One day Akari remembers the 10 promises that she had made to Socks and her mother...

Movie Trailer:
